National Sports Day

To mark the contribution of the legendry Hockey player and the three time Olympic gold medal winner Major Dhyanchand his birth anniversary was celebrated with a sportsmanship’s zeal at School Of Scholars. The event was graced by the pleasant presence of Respected Dr Sharad Suryavanshi Director of Sports and Physical Education at RTM Nagpur University and national ace athlete who had participated in various events national and international. The programme started with garlanding of the image of Major Dhyanchand. The students of SOS showcased the need and importance of the first aid through a skit in which they depicted various critical situations faced at school or at home and the required techniques for first aid. The guest inspired the students to take part in the sports to achieve a holistic development .The programme was compared by miss Hemangi Tajne and Gyaneshwari Pawar to make the event more fruitful the efforts were taken by the sports.
